Clovis, Fresno County
The Clovis Rodeo has been held nearly every spring since 1914 and is still run by volunteers. For one long weekend in late April the grounds near Old Town Clovis fill with bull riders, barrel racers and a parade down Pollasky Avenue. The event reflects how the city sees itself, as a western town that kept its character while growing.
